How To Use Writesonic

Getting Started (5 minutes)

Go to writesonic.com and click Get Started Free. Sign up with Google or email.
After signing in, you'll see the main dashboard. Writesonic is now primarily an AI Search Visibility platform (tracking how your brand appears in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, etc.), but it still includes content writing tools.
For content creation: Click Content Engine in the left sidebar. Pick what you want to write - blog post, product description, ad copy, or social media post.
For AI visibility tracking: Click AI Visibility Tracking and enter your website URL. Writesonic scans how often AI tools mention your brand and where you rank compared to competitors.
Fill in the prompts (topic, tone, keywords). Hit Generate and Writesonic creates a draft in 15-30 seconds.

Track your brand in AI search results. If people ask ChatGPT "best CRM for small teams," does your product get mentioned? Writesonic shows you exactly where you rank across 10+ AI platforms.
Write blog posts that rank on Google AND get cited by AI. Writesonic's Content Engine analyzes what's currently ranking, then generates articles optimized for both traditional SEO and AI visibility.
Find content gaps. Writesonic tells you which competitors get mentioned by AI but you don't - then suggests exactly what content to create to close that gap.
Generate social posts from blog content. Paste a blog URL and Writesonic pulls out key points, rewrites them for Twitter/LinkedIn, and suggests 5-10 variations.

Use the AI Actions feature. Writesonic doesn't just show you data - it tells you what to do next. "Create this article," "reach out to these sites for backlinks," "update this old blog post." Follow the checklist and your AI visibility goes up.
Connect Google Search Console and Ahrefs. Writesonic pulls live keyword data so you're optimizing for real search volume, not guesses.
Set up competitor monitoring. Add 3-5 competitors and track where they get cited but you don't. That's your roadmap for what content to create next.
